Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 July 2026 · These terms are a contract between you and Grindare Studio Ltd.

1. Who we are

Chat Arena (chatarena.win) is operated by Grindare Studio Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16941033, with its registered office in Leeds, LS25 1NB, United Kingdom.

2. What Chat Arena is

Chat Arena is an overlay for live streams on Kick. Viewers type !join in a streamer's chat and appear on screen as a critter that earns XP, levels up and can take part in on-stream activities such as giveaways, boss fights and races.

Chat Arena is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by Kick or Twitch. Your use of each platform is governed by that platform's own terms, and you must keep to them while using Chat Arena.

3. Accounts

You sign in with your Kick account. We never see or store your Kick password. You are responsible for anything done through your account.

You may have one active presence at a time - joining a second channel moves your critter there.

We may suspend or remove an account that abuses the service, cheats, attacks the platform, or harms other users.

4. Age

You must be at least 13 years old to use Chat Arena, and old enough to use Kick under Kick's own rules. If you are under 18, you may only use the service with your parent's or guardian's permission, and only they may make any purchase.

5. Virtual items (XP, gold, skins)

XP, levels, gold, skins, auras, weapons and every other in-service item are licensed to you, not sold. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money or transferred between accounts, and cannot be cashed out.

Because Chat Arena is under active development, we may add, change, rebalance or remove items and features. We will avoid removing something you paid for while your subscription is running, but we cannot promise any item will exist forever.

6. Chat Arena+ (paid subscription)

Chat Arena+ is cosmetic only. It gives you animated skins, premium auras, an entrance effect and a glowing nick plate. It gives you no XP, no gold, no better odds in any giveaway, no extra boss damage and no advantage of any kind over players who do not pay. This is a core promise of the service and we will not change it.

The current price is shown on the Chat Arena+ page in your panel and again at checkout, in your local currency where we support it, including any VAT. You always see the exact amount before you confirm. It renews automatically each month until you cancel.

Payments are handled by Stripe Managed Payments. This means Stripe's payment entity, Onelink, is the merchant of record for your purchase: it takes the payment, is responsible for VAT and other sales taxes where they apply, and issues your receipt or tax invoice. Your purchase may therefore show on your bank or card statement as LINK.COM* followed by our name, and your receipt may say Sold through Onelink. We never receive or store your card details.

You can cancel at any time from the Chat Arena+ tab in your panel. Cancelling stops the next renewal - your cosmetics keep working until the end of the period you already paid for, and then switch off on their own. We do not give partial refunds for an unused part of a month, beyond the statutory rights described below.

If a payment fails, we may keep your cosmetics active for a short grace period while your card is retried, and then deactivate them.

We may change the price. If we do, we will tell you in advance and the new price will only apply from your next renewal, so you can cancel first if you do not agree.

7. Right of withdrawal (EU / UK consumers)

As a consumer you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason.

Chat Arena+ gives you access immediately after payment. When you subscribe you expressly ask us to start supplying it straight away, and you acknowledge that once it has been fully supplied you lose the right of withdrawal for that period.

If you have not used any of the paid features, contact markclothes.cs@gmail.com within 14 days and we will refund that period.

8. Giveaways and prizes

This is important, so please read it. Giveaways on Chat Arena are run by streamers, not by us. Chat Arena only provides the tool that picks a winner on screen.

The streamer decides whether to run a giveaway, what the prize is, and is solely responsible for actually delivering it and for complying with any promotion, prize-draw or lottery rules that apply where they are. Grindare Studio Ltd is not the promoter, does not hold the prizes and is not liable if a streamer fails to hand a prize over.

Entry is always free - typing in chat is all it takes. Paying for Chat Arena+ does not enter you into anything and does not improve your chances, as set out in section 6.

If you are a streamer running giveaways through Chat Arena, you are responsible for making the rules, eligibility and prize clear to your viewers, and for following the law in your country.

9. If you are a streamer

You may only connect a Kick channel that you own or are authorised to manage. You are responsible for what happens on your overlay, including the prizes you promise and how you treat your viewers.

Your overlay link is a secret. Anyone who has it can display your overlay - keep it to yourself and tell us if it leaks.

10. Acceptable use

Do not: use bots, scripts or multiple accounts to farm XP, gold or giveaway entries; attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer the service; scrape the site; impersonate anyone; or use Chat Arena to harass others or to distribute unlawful content.

We may remove XP, gold or items obtained by cheating, and close the accounts involved.

11. Availability

Chat Arena is provided as is and is still being actively developed. We do not guarantee that it will be available without interruption or free of bugs, and we may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue Chat Arena+ entirely, we will refund the unused part of any period you have already paid for.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law - including death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for lost profit, lost viewers, lost revenue or undelivered streamer prizes.

13. Ending this agreement

You can stop using Chat Arena at any time, cancel your subscription from your panel, and ask us to delete your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. If we do so without cause while you have paid time remaining, we will refund the unused part.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will give reasonable notice on the site before it takes effect. Continuing to use Chat Arena after that means you accept the new terms. If you do not accept them, cancel your subscription and stop using the service.

15. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident in the EU or elsewhere, this does not remove the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring proceedings in your own country's courts.

16. Language

These terms are published in English and Polish. The English version prevails if the two differ; the Polish version is provided for convenience.
